Classroom Discipline
I will mostly be using positive reinforcement to model and encourage good behavior. There will also be a behavior management plan set in place. Every student will have 3 baseballs and 1 jersey. Whenever the students do something good they will get moved to the next base. When the get to home plate then they will be able to pick a prize at the end of the day. If they have bad behavior then they will get a baseball taken away. If they get all of their baseballs taken then they will lose 5 minutes of free time at the end of the day.
In order to get their jerseys moved they must demonstrate good behavior. This includes being quiet and listening when I ask them too, being quiet in line, and being kind and respectful to their friends. Actions to get their baseballs taken away would be continually not doing this or acting out in an inappropriate way.
